Segment walkway for mining industry, type CHG-bpw
Application
Segment walkway for mining industry, type CHG-bpw, produced by BPW, is intended for using as an element of communication paths in sloping headways. Slope angle should not be greater then 20 degrees. Walkway, type CHG-bpw, together with SCHG-bpw stairs or LSS-bpw light stairs can be used as an element of pedestrian traffic path.

Characteristics
Certified steel profile with atni-slip surface is used for production of segment walkway, type CHG-bpw. Construction is light, compact and well adjusted to underground conditions.
As far as conformity of design, technology and production with current norms, regulations, functionality and safety is concerned - the design of CHG-bpw walkway has been given positive opinion of Certificate Researches Institute CMG KOMAG.
It also meets requirements of par.96 regulation of Polish Ministry of Industry and Trade issued on Apr,14-th 1995.

Technical data
Two versions of CHG-bpw segments are produced: with- or without side hand-rail. Its main parameters let using it in various types of excavations (ex. transport) as an anti-slip element of pedestrian communication path.

Basic Technical Parameters:
- suggested floor slope angle: from 0 to 20 degrees
- supporting surface unitary load - 250kg/m2
- segment lenght 1.25m or 2.5m, width 0.42m, supporting profile height 40mm
- connection of segments by means of pipe hinge gives possibility to deflect the whole communication path from roll axis by 6 degrees and from cross axis by 20 degrees
- holders attached to ends of each segment allow to prevent whole communicaton path from slipping, ex. by means of bolting.
Design of CHG walkway is copyrighted.

Working platform, type GP-bpw
Application
Working platform, type GP-bpw, produced by BPW Ltd., is the basic element forming bigger platforms used during assembly of temporary and permanent linings in preparatory excavations headings (tunelled by means of heading machines and shot works), or in headings rebuilds.
GP-bpw working platform can be also used building foot-bridges where the floor is locally bumpy.

Characteristics
Certified steel profile with atni-slip surface is used for production of working platform, type PG-bpw.
As far as construction design is concerned, PG-bpw working platform fulfills requirements of polish norm PN-80/M49060 "Machines and Devices. Entries and accesses - Requirements" and BN-77/0414-12 "Pathways over main transport devices - design rules". It refers to design solutions applicable for loads not greater then 2.5kN per square meter of working area.

Technical data
Construction of GP-bpw working platform is compact and solid. Technical parameters of GP working paltforms allow to use them for building platforms, foot-bridges over transportation ways etc.

Basic technical parameters of PG working platforms:
- distributed load of platform working area: 2.5kN per square meter, assuming that span of supporting points equals 3 meters; - platform lenght up to 3500mm, width 300mm, profile height 70mm;
- GP-bpw platform has wooden anti-slip pad attached to bottom ends of the platform. It prevents metal elements of platforms working together from undesirable slides;
-platform supporting surface is made from openwork profile. It provides maximum safety for people independently from environmetnal conditions.
Design of PG platform is copyrighted.

Filled bolt "BPW-M"
Application
Filled bolt BPW-M kit, produced by BPW Ltd., is intended to use in both: underground and surface excavations.
It is used for attaching machines and devices to floor, preventing excavation floors from uplifts, preventing surface floors from swelling, stabilization of side wall arches and stabilization of support lining of dog headings.

Characteristics
Filled bolt BPW-M is classified as non-conventional and intended for technological purposes. Therefore it does not need to be certified for using in underground mines in Poland.
The material, which BPW-M kit is made from, meets requirements stated for steel, glued bolts. As far as conformity of design, technology and production with current norms, regulations, functionality and safety is concerned - the design of BPW-M bolt has been given positive opinion of Certificate Researches Institute CMG KOMAG.
